FIELD NOTES / 001

A study of
Skógafoss.

A 60-metre curtain of water on Iceland’s south coast, framed by moss-covered cliffs and a dark volcanic riverbed.

This interactive study is an artistic reconstruction. The waterfall’s approximate dimensions are grounded in references; terrain, rock placement and viewing positions are composed for this experience.

The water study uses real WebGPU compute for falling droplets, splashes and drifting mist. The continuous waterfall remains an artistic shader effect; this is not a full fluid solver.

Choose a clear day, golden sunset, passing rain or an aurora night. Each sky changes the light, water and atmosphere. These are composed moods, not live weather.
